Due to its long isolation adrift in the Pacific Ocean New Zealand is like an experimental workshop for all sort of weird and wonderful birds, reptiles and insects, unfortunately many now extremely endangered and rare thanks to introduced mammal predators. As well as the renowned forest inhabitants - Kiwi, Kakapo and Tuatara - there are amazing marine mammals to discover and a vast number of cool sea birds such as penguins, gannets and albatross.
One of New Zealand’s best dolphin swimming experiences in the clear blue waters of the scenic Marlborough Sounds. Swimming with wild dolphins has got to be one of the most memorable experiences you'll ever have! On this four hour tour you'll hopefully get to swim with playful Dusky or Bottlenose dolphins and if you're lucky you might also get a glimpse of an Orca or even a super-rare Hector’s dolphin.
